One of Spiro’s most valued products is Spirofloor®.
Easily described as the most modern and multifunctional loading and unloading system currently in use within the garbage processing industry, Spiro B.V. produces two versions of this product: Spirofloor Mobile and Spirofloor Stationair.

The Spirofloor® is the most modern multifunctional loading and discharge system in today's transport world. A trailer fitted with a Spirofloor® can transport a variety of products, a well as bulk goods such as pallets and barrels. The Spirofloor® system is both multifunctional and efficient. Spirofloor® reduces time-consuming loading and discharging to a minimum. The system brings about a considerable increase in transport capacity. A trailer 13.6 metres long can be unloaded in 7 minutes. The loading and unloading speed is variable from 0 to 2.25 metres per minute and can be matched, for example, to the capacity of the conveyor receiving the load.

Operation of the Spirofloor® system is based on the difference in frictional resistance between the floor and the load. The floor consists of three groups of profiles, two wide and one narrow. The wide groups can move independently of each other. The narrow group is mounted rigidly on the chassis and cannot slide. The repetition of a movement cycle allows the load to be transported in two directions. The movement cycle works in three stages, with approx. 40% of the floor sliding under the load in each of the first two stages. The two groups of profiles slide simultaneously during the third stage to move the load, before repeating the cycle.
